Bill Bowers A/C and Heating, Inc. was established in 1989 by Bill Bowers as a family owned and operated company and remains so to this day, 30+ years later. We have continued his legacy and invite you to be part of it alongside us.

Your air conditioner needs routine care to stay in good condition. A well-maintained cooling system can last for 15 to 20 years, but one that is neglected will fail sooner – sometimes MUCH sooner. That is why we encourage a twice yearly maintenance every spring and fall before your AC and Heating system gets put to the test during the changing seasons with our AC maintenance plans.

Bowers Family Membership PREMIUM Plan** - $85.00/Month

AS NEEDED: Replacement of any filters, electrical components (contactor, capacitor, transformer, relay, UV bulb replacement), in place cleanings (evaporator cleaning, coil cleaning, blower wheel cleaning, and condenser coil cleaning). These services are performed on an as needed basis as seen fit by your service technician. At completion of the maintenance, your technician will review what was replaced and/or completed with you. As part of the PREMIUM Bowers Family Membership, this service is provided to you at no additional charge beyond your yearly membership payment.

TWO Annual Maintenances

  • Measure Air Temperature Difference between Supply and Return
  • Check Thermostat and Calibrate If Needed
  • Add Up to 1 Pound of Refrigerant If Needed
  • Check Contactor and Tighten as Needed
  • Test Capacitors
  • Check Amp Draw On Motors
  • Tighten All Electrical Connections and Inspect Wiring inside the Air Handler and at the Condenser
  • Inspect Drain Line Insulation and Suction Line Insulation
  • Test Voltage and Check Condensing Fan Motor
  • Check Fan Blade for Proper Rotation and Balance
  • Inspect Evaporator Coil If Necessary
  • Clean/Blow Out Drain Line
  • Remove All Debris from Unit
  • Check Both Primary and Secondary Drain Pans for Cracks, Leaks, Etc
  • Inspect Duct System and Check for Leaks and Damage
  • Check Safety Switches for Proper Operation
  • Air Filters – Inspect, Clean And/or Replace with Owner Supplied Filter
  • Clean Condensing Coil with Garden Hose
  • Maintenance Report for You and for Your File

Regular Maintenance Will:

  • Extend the Life of Your Heating and Cooling System
  • Reduce Utility Costs
  • Reduce Repairs
  • Provide a More Comfortable Indoor Environment

* What Are Bowers Bucks?

Bowers Bucks can be used toward repairs, new systems, new duct work, indoor air quality products, UV bulb replacement, thermostats, etc. Bowers Bucks can accumulate over the years and are transferable to a new homeowner should the property be sold. Bowers bucks cannot be used for diagnostic fees, purchasing an extended labor warranty or on purchasing/renewing a Bowers Family Membership. **Terms and Conditions: This is not an extended warranty, nor does it imply warranty coverage of any type. Maintenance agreements are non-refundable. They are transferable to the new owner of the same address. 24-Hour notice is requested for cancellation of a maintenance visit. We make every attempt to contact you to schedule maintenance and are not responsible for delays in your maintenance. We reserve the right to reschedule any appointment. Maintenance will be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00am and 4:30 pm. Systems must be accessible for maintenance to be performed. The agreement takes effect once payment is received. This maintenance agreement is not a service contract and does not include the cost of labor and parts for repairs to the covered equipment. In no way does Bill Bowers A/C and Heating, Inc. accept any responsibility for problems that may arise during the operation of this equipment or operator errors covered by this agreement. Bill Bowers A/C and Heating, Inc. is not responsible for damages and/or loss caused by condensate water damage, dirty filters, or the delay in performance of the maintenance agreement for any other reason. Customers are responsible for cleaning their drain lines and filters in between maintenance services. Bacteria growth, mildew, and rust are the responsibility of the owner. Other companies servicing this equipment may void this agreement.
